Nanton Golf Club 2018 Junior Lesson Program

Welcome to the Nanton Golf Club Junior Lesson Program. Lessons are available to anyone, members and non-members, beginners or those that have played previously.

Program Goal: To introduce the sport of golf to new golfers in a fun, friendly environment where they can develop the proper athletic skills and golf fundamentals required to develop at an age appropriate level.

Program Cost: $75

Program Dates: Thursday May 24th to Thursday June 21st (5 Weeks)

Red Level:

Juniors Age 3 – 5yrs:
4pm – 4:45pm

This program is for beginner golfers with no experience who will be introduced to the game of golf and some of the basic fundamentals. Focus will be on having fun, developing athletic skills, and learning how to hit a ball.

 

Orange Level:

Juniors Age 6 – 8yrs:
5pm – 5:45pm

This program is for beginner golfers and participants will be introduced to the fundamentals of the swing and learn short game basics. They will also play fun games to practice fundamental movement skills that can be applied to the game of golf and help develop athletic skills such as balance, hand eye coordination, and agility.

 

Blue Level:

Junior Ages 9 – 11yrs:
6pm – 6:45pm

This program is for beginner to intermediate golfers. Participants will learn and develop the fundamentals of the full swing technique to improve consistency and distance. They will develop their short game skills learning how to control distance while chipping and putting, and how to read a green. There will also be a focus on learning and mastering fine motor skills through games and exercises that can be used in combinations with other skills (i.e. balance and swinging the club at the same time)

 

Black Level:

Junior Ages 12 – 14yrs:
7pm – 7:45pm

This program is for beginner to intermediate golfers. Participants will continue to reinforce basic golf fundamental movement skills as well as learn how to play and compete. Participants will be introduced to the basic rules of golf, golf etiquette, and learn how to keep score.
